Huddling out of the cold in the bakehouse, with a hot coffee and some chilled jazz, Cafe del Freeo went off again last night. It was encouraging to talk to Martin and Jen from Newcastle Uni Ministry\’s and hear about the success they\’re having. Martin\’s talk on the authentic Jesus pulled out some really strong points, and it was great to see some new faces around hearing the good word, and to be able to catch up with them and Martin and Jen afterwards. Give thanks that we\’re able to put these nights on and keep praying for Martin and Jen\’s work, and for the new people who went along last night.

We\’re only a few weeks into the term so its an awesome time to think about getting into a growth group. Genesis is pack full of big issues and its great to be able to delve into them with other folk from church. There are plenty of groups on lots of different nights, so contact Paul Beetson to find one to suit you.
