Martin & Jen Shadwick (AFES Newcastle Uni)

Martin and Jen are both graduates of our EV MTS program. Martin is now working with AFES as a staff worker at Newcastle Uni, discipling, evangelising and training Christian students. Jen works half the week in the same Uni ministry with women on campus and half the week in children’s ministry at the Hunter Bible Church.

Chris and Sharon Ekins (Coast Evangelical Church, Forster)

Chris and Sharon moved up to Forster to begin a church there in early 2009. They were convicted of the great need up there for more Bible teaching churches, especially ones that are accessible to those with little or no church background. Praise God that they now have about 30 adults and 10 kids who call Coast EC home, and they are just about to start a second home group. Pray that God would continue to grow His church and save many, as they pray, invest in relationships, share the gospel, and teach the Bible. Check out www.coastec.net.au/category/prayer/ for more.
